Pantry News
The Jackson Food Pantry is a ministry to assist
with food collection for the local food bank. Meet us the 3rd Tuesday
of the month for stocking food items and the following Thursday for
distribution to the townships citizens.
If you are unable to volunteer your time;
please pick up the targeted food items below. They can be dropped in a basket
at our church services on Sundays. If you need the items picked up, please call
our church office at 732-833-4807.
The
following is a list of items needed at the
pantry:
- dry pasta, jar/can red tomato sauce
- mac & cheese boxes
- peanut butter/jelly jars
- condiments (mayo, ketchup, mustard)
- can or package tuna
- pasta/rice mixes or bag rice
- salad dressing (italian, etc.)
- jello/pudding boxes or containers-non refrigerated
- cookies/crackers
- can/package soups
- can fruits, applesauce
- can veggies: corn, peas, carrots, green beans
- misc. can beans (any type), baked beans
- boxed cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix/syrup
- coffee/tea (regular 11oz cans/boxes)
- apple juice bottles, kid cartons of juice/sips
- can fruits
- personal care items: toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, bar
soap or body wash
- paper products: kleenix, toilet tissue, napkins, paper
towels
- baby food (stages), formula, toddler diapers (2, 3, 4, 5,
6)
